Good Morning and Good Night
When my family wakes up the house is dark. We say "Good Morning" and all the lights we need in the morning turn on: the kitchen, the living room lamps, the dining room table etc. Each area is set to the right color temperature and precise brightness.
"It's time to clean" turns every light to max brightness.
When the day is done we say "It's Bedtime" to turn everything off downstairs - the kitchen, dining room, basement, floodlights, even the fireplace. One lamp dims as a night light. "We're Leaving" goes further and turns off the entire house including TVs and music.
The porch lights activate by dusk and dawn timers.
Our smart home is useful, fun and easy to use
The kids can set the playroom lights all blue..
At Halloween the porch is purple and orange.
When it's cold out I say "Start my Truck" to warm it up.
The fridge sends an alert if the breaker trips..
"Set Sleep Timer" turns off the TV while we sleep..
Netflix keeps streaming when the power is out.
The lawn sprinklers rotate daily but not when it rains.
The garage bay closes itself if we forget.
We can lock/unlock the deadbolt from wherever we are.
Any smoke alarm turns on all the bedroom lights.
Leaky sinks are found immediately.
We tweak the thermostat from the beach.
Our doors and windows have sensors.
We see video clips of every visitor to our porch.
